Katrina Kuras is participating in the 2017 Dream Mountains Kilimanjaro climb, in support of CARE Canada.
My first adventure with Dream Mountains was Everest Base Camp in 2015 in which I had chosen to raise money for CARE Canada. Their primary focus of fighting poverty by empowering and educating women of the world had spoken deeply to me. The day after we landed in Kathmandu there was the devastating 7.9 magnitude earthquake. “CARE is among the first to arrive and the last to leave, helping communities recover and rebuild when disaster strikes.” I witnessed this first hand when they were amongst the first to arrive and give their support. This has made me more passionate to climb for them this year. Please help me reach my dream of raising over $5000 (over 10,000 including my last “trek”) and donate on behalf of me to CARE Canada.
